2016 Day 1:

Happy New Year!

I pretty much failed at every single resolution I made last year, which actually pretty rare for me. This year I only have two.
#1 (and most important!) is to finish everything I start. I tend to start a project, then after a while I'll start another project, and before I know it I've started another project, and I've never finished the first!!! I'm pretty sure I'm up to 100,00 projects that I'm currently working on.
SO FAR for 2016 I've started reading "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkeban" to my daughter. We read the first two Harry Potter books last year and started the third but then life got in the way. Not this year!!! We are going to finish this book!
#2 is to quit sugar. I KNOW! STILL!! It is a LIFE-CONSUMING addiction!! The Mr is quitting caffeine first and then he will quit all sugar. I'm having three (maybe four depending on how bad the Mr's "bad day" of withdrawals are) Pepsi's and then quitting cold-turkey. I don't even care what happens, I am quitting sugar even if it makes me SICK. That is it. I will accomplish nothing else this year until I'm done with sugar forever.

My first movie of 2016 was "Trading Places" (one of the Mr's favorite movies) and today I watched "The Whole Ten Yards" (on of MY favorite movies!). I haven't yet heard my first song of 2016.
I hope to do a lot more reading this year (I can only think of three books I finished last year!) and more walking and biking, because according to "MapMyRide" I've only done THREE workouts, only gone ONE mile and only worked out for 30 minutes!! ALL YEAR!! So I'd like to aim a little higher in those two areas, lol.
