Getting Excited

Almost every book in the house (not counting the garage yet) has been either thrown away, donated, or packed. Most of the books are in banana boxes (no lid and has holes to "breathe") but my "special" books got wrapped inside plastic garbage bags and packed that way.

I have procured a 10 x 15 foot storage locker and I have taken a load out already. My mad Tetris skills come in handy at times like these. I have all the boxes and tubs already stacked in a corner. Not very many people are as good as I am with utilizing vertical storage space!!

My husband and I have already started looking at furniture for the new place even though we haven't GOT a new place yet. We didn't buy anything, both because we're saving up for the down payment AND because we don't want to jinx it, LOL.

We are really hoping to pay the down payment tomorrow and seal the deal.

We met who would be our neighbors if we get the place - and she said several people have been by to look at the place, and a few of them more than once (like us - we've walked through it four times now).

We are already trying to decide what colors to paint it so it would be pretty hard on us if we didn't get it. We are trying SO HARD not to get our hopes up.

I'm honestly surprised at how excited my husband is to move! His whole family HATES MOVING! My husband's brother has had to move three times in six years and he told us when he moves away from the house he's currently living in he will be in a hearse, haha!

But my husband almost seems more excited about it than I am! I guess that's just more of me rubbing off on him! He is almost cute in his boyish enthusiasm. ;)
